스포츠 토토라데시의 부화장에서 2 개의 농장 청소년 공연 시험을 수행하여 상업용 운영자가 생산 한 농장 나일 틸라피아 (선물)와 국소 균주 (LS)의 유전자 개선 된 균주를 비교하기 위해 수행되었습니다. 5 개의 복제 HAPAS에서 21 일의 조기 간호 시험을 수행 한 후 6 개의 복제 HAPAS에서 27 일 고급 간호 시험을 실시했습니다. 평균 공급 전환율 (FCR), 평균 특이 적 성장률 (SGR), 평균 개별 최종 가중치, 평균 생산 수율 및 평균 생존율은 두 균주에 대해 계산되었습니다. 초기 간호 시험에서 선물 튀김 생존율과 전반적인 수확량은 상당히있었습니다 (P< 0.05) greater than LS values, which in contrast demonstrated better FCR and SGR. Improved performance was demonstrated in terms of FCR, SGR and yield for GIFT during the advanced nursing trial and mean final individual weights were 78% greater for GIFT than LS fish (2.26 g and 1.27 g respectively). Economic analysis indicated GIFT fish produced a net return 84% greater than that of LS fish at the end of the early nursing period, and by the end of the advanced nursing period, this difference had grown further such that GIFT generated a gross return over double that of LS. The results from a survey of tilapia grow-out farmers suggested producers from poor, medium and better-off backgrounds agreed GIFT performed better than traditional strains and is beneficial for aquaculture growth in Bangladesh. However, the results also indicate there may be a greater propensity for better-off farmers to appreciate the potential benefits of improved strains over poorer farmers.
